Lenore's Retirement

Lenore will be missed by many here at D&A. Her time and effort put into the company helped make it what it is today. Words can only go so far to express how much she will be missed. Her example and how much we learned from her has been invaluable to the company and us personally.

When asked “In one or two sentences can you tell me what you have learned from Lenore or what will you miss the most about her?”  Here is what our employees had to say:

Trinity - I will miss her smile, memory, and knowledge. I have learned so many things from her that she was just so eager to share and help me succeed here in the office.

Ryan- There are not enough positive words to describe Lenore but here are a few: Loyal, logical, levelheaded, Esteemed, efficient, exemplary, Neat, noteworthy, nuanced, Oriented, original, official, Resilient, reliable, resourceful, Esteemed, easygoing, enlightening

Denise- She is tenacious…

Stewart- Lenore – Thank you for the kindness you have shared with me throughout the years. You have always been one of those persons I respected for your professionalism that is demonstrated in so many ways. You will most definitely be missed.

Dina- Lenore has always showed me an unwavering dedication to make us all succeed, both in my own personal job and a company as a whole. She is fearless, but always keeps her cool when it comes to dealing with problems and issues with jobs and contractors. I will miss her mile-wide smile and energetic laugh!!

Kristina- I will miss her laugh and our talks the most! I cannot share all of the knowledge she has given me, that’s her secret recipe. But I will say this, I could never repay her for everything she has taught me.

Juan- Thanks to you I learned how to deal with Micron lol, I really enjoyed working with you! I am going to miss your awesome poems and your yearly yummy jam. Enjoy your retirement and have fun traveling the world

Nick Mcbryde- Oh man, I really admire her organization, scheduling, planning, and her ability to see problems before they arise. She’s going to be a tough one to replace, big shoes to fill. She’s definitely a loss for D&A Glass. But she’s done her time and done it well, good luck on Retirement Lenore!

Jacob- Her knowledge of the glass industry and professionalism. Also understanding how the job work/role lays out. Not worrying if your materials will be ordered or show up on time.

Mark F.- I will miss her homemade jams and jellies.

Gino- She is very good at what she does.

Deb– To take everything with a grain of salt. I will miss her laugh.

Mike H.- Attention to detail when ordering doors. I will miss her Orange Marmalade it was so delicious.

Scott T.- Knowledge and willing to share that knowledge with others.

Madora- Awesome teacher! Personality plus, a laugh that will never be replaced, and the wisdom of a Magi….and God love her for taking one for the team dealing with the Micronites these many years!
